All In Women's Conference

Resplendency’s 2022 Women’s Conference: All In

Last month I was one of the guests at the Resplendency’s 2022 Women’s Conference: All In. I was interviewed by Pastor Natalie, who, with her husband, is the founder of Resplendency, Inc. a Christian-based ministry. She loves to encourage others in their journey with God. Given this, it was perhaps not a surprise that the topic of this year’s conference was ‘All In’.

Women’s Conference ‘All In’

When asked to be part of the ‘All In’ Women’s Conference I felt so honoured. Sharing what ‘All in’ means to me and discussing some important themes with Pastor Natalie meant a lot to me. I am so grateful that we had the opportunity to discuss what faith and being ‘All in’ means to us when we are challenged in our life. Are we going to remain with God when going through hardship or are we the ones who only seek God when we are in hardship, but forget Him when we get what we prayed for?

How are we being encouraged to remain ‘All in’ when we hit a bottom rock? Life isn’t easy. Many of us experience hardship and if you are going through difficulties, I want you to know that you are never alone. God is always with us. So if you need some reassurance, then listen to the enriching Resplendency’s 2022 Women’s Conference ‘All in’.

My Story

Perhaps the world we live in nowadays and the trauma many of us experience was the reason why I felt that discussing faith, healing, and hope was so important and was therefore grateful for the invite from Pastor Natalie.

Those topics are also very close to my heart. Just before the end of 2020, I had a terrible accident when a van hit me as I was crossing the road on my way home from work. I ended up in a hospital with a fractured back. It was a life-changing event for me. The event changed my outlook on life, and subsequentially my priorities, whilst also throwing up many challenges.

Two months after my accident I was diagnosed with PTSD. This wasn’t however the first trauma I have experienced, I have been through so much trauma in my life. However, whilst trauma has taken so much from me there is one thing it hasn’t taken away and never will – my faith. It’s thanks to my faith that I am now where I am. It is God who left me on this earth, and I believe that He left me here for a reason.
