It wasn’t just the accident itself causing my nightmares, suddenly all the gloomy thoughts from the past that I had swept under the carpet started to creep out. They had been safely tucked away for years, I had been so preoccupied with keeping the box shut that I neglected to actually address the underlying issues. Sonia, thank you so much! It is true, the guide is for those who experienced trauma to help them to see the light at the end of a dark tunnel. However, I believe that anyone can apply many of the tools mentioned in this guide in order to deal with everyday situations. No one knows what the future holds, but there are many things we can do in the present moment that makes dealing with tough times more bearable. Practising gratitude and seeing the blessings around us, showing them our love whilst they are with us, making memories that stay once they have gone…what you are mentioning is something that all of us will experience and no one knows when, so doing our best whilst we are still here on this world, is what we can do. Whilst the guide is mainly for those who have experienced traumatic events and hard times, I believe that anyone can take something from it.
